Welcome to the “Grand Opening” of my online store, and this site!

I’m sending this to all my friends and family initially, then eventually to my customers also. I’m so blessed to be able to funnel my persistent creativity into something that I just plain love so much! Every aspect of designing, shopping for, and creating with these flowers makes me happy. Two downsides so far…my house is over-run with all things floral :) and I have some scars on my hands from hot glue! But I can live with them.

As  you all know, both of my precious kids – Donny and Jenny – are happily married now, and Don and I are officially empty-nesters. So, having some extra (!) time on my hands, I decided to try my hand at making some Christmas decorations. My partner in crime, Diana (my sister-in-law), and I made our rounds of the craft stores after Christmas in January 2008, and of course we found deals I just could not pass up! And I was on my way!! Diana was so faithful helping me with shopping, shopping, and setting up and hanging out at the shows I displayed at, 7 in all that first year. And I met some great ladies, one in particular, Jenny Zimmer, who has become a good friend and mentor to me. I’ll tell you more about her and her shop site later, have to look it up…

Anyway, thanks for checking out my new site and store! I couldn’t have done it without the help of my daughter-in-law, Kelly, who is an expert on all things “web”! And of course Donald and Donny and Jenny are always there to help me when I need anything – they’re my biggest fans and encouragers…oh, my mom Jeanette, too :)

So many to thank, especially God for opening doors of opportunity for me! I’ll get to all of them here soon….right now I have some flowers to trim and glue!
